2025 Year in Review

What a very strange and wild few years it has been for KIRA and the world, to say the least. The rapid development of AI has kept the KIRA project on its toes, and we can’t wait to show you what we have been working on! Here is what we have accomplished.

2025 saw the launch of KIRA Arcade. Completely AI-built, human directed, interactive games.

PMC (Private Military Company) has become our most complex AI-built product to date. With a full combat system, AI enemies and allies, contracts with objectives, resource mining, military vehicle shops, dropships, nukes, basic base building, and so much more. Most impressively, it’s built entirely with Claude Code, using nothing but JavaScript and Three.js. It’s not just all talk either. You can play the pre-alpha version of PMC right now, today, on the KIRA Arcade page. While it’s still visually rough around the edges (it’s in pre-alpha give us a break), the future is very bright for PMC, and we can see glimmers of something truly special peeking through during development. Can’t wait to show you more of the amazing things planned for PMC!

Also available in the Arcade, KIRA Command is an early prototype of our first person shooter system. We are building multiple projects under the assumption that LLM coding capability is going to rapidly increase in the coming years, perhaps to an under-estimated degree. The results have been very promising so far. We have been able to get Claude Code to do some pretty remarkable things, like adding hit detection to certain body parts, with death / walking animations being effected, and ragdoll physics. Inspired by the GoldenEye, Perfect Dark, and TimeSplitters era of first person shooters, we hope to re-ignite and continue this lineage of gameplay style, and bring it back in a very big way to modern audiences.

There are some other very, VERY early stage things we are working on in the Arcade. You can check out our driving mechanics, and even our in-house Portal game engine where we are experimenting with automatic AI-coded character rigging and animation. These things however… are very early prototypes and require much more advanced LLMs to get right. Still, we have them live and available on the arcade for testing purposes.

Our music offerings have also received a little love. We’ve launched K-Radio, a music platform where you’ll be able to listen to all of the music we produce over time. K-Radio currently contains some of our earliest creations, back when AI was just getting started! K-Radio will be integrated with all our games. Create playlists, add songs to your favorites, and watch pretty visualizations with a variety of music genres. Look forward to a lot more music in the future!

Did we stop there? Of course not! We also launched Vibe! A dedicated social platform for discussions, events, creating squads, dev updates, and a chat feature that will be integrated directly into our games.

In 2025, we also released PriceHawk: our KIRA token price and chart tool. Though it’s still a little janky, and not all technical analysis tools work exactly right, we still prefer it over sending you to alternative outside links that are horror shows and terrible to look at. (Though you should still monitor KIRA on places like Trading View, and not rely on just one centralized source). Expect PriceHawk to grow into a fully-featured, very polished, clean, and easy to use app in the coming years. (By the way, look at that beautiful price chart, good job KIRA!)

In addition, we have sent out hundreds of our FREE NFTs to social media participants on OpenSea. Our community holds some of the earliest AI generations on the blockchain, and some of the earliest AI generated images, EVER, in the world. Years from now, it will be interesting to see what that does for the future value of these beautiful little gems.

The things we have built in the past, and are building today, are just the beginning.

In the coming years, we expect to see the launch of KTV, a 24/7 LIVE broadcast of things that are sure to get us into a lot of trouble. The games in the arcade are building towards the films, and we hope our Merch page looks less lonely and lists some pretty things to buy! The labs section will receive some love, with the ability to download our open source and totally free AI-built tools and software, view KIRA’s portfolio of work, and the wild / zany experiments we come up with. Think of it as like Willy Wonka’s tour of the Chocolate Factory.

We would love to share more of the amazing things being worked on, but we like surprises even more!

KIRA Universe wishes you all a wonderful 2026!
